I arrived at the Lion's Lair on Denver's East Colfax Street on a frosty, cold winter Thursday night for a 3-band show featuring Hoverfly, Abandons and New Standards Men. Unfortunately, I had to hit the road back to Colorado Springs after the first band, Hoverfly played, but they were really phenomenal and totally worth the trip.
